Re: simple green and property values
I do not know why we expect the truth
from BP or its contractors. Reports
in hindsight have people admitting they
knew this or that~~
http://www.pnj.com/article/20100829/NEWS01/8290333/Oil-spill-BP-reverses-admi...
Meanwhile, most are under contract to hide
the truth, including scientists. This says
a lot to me about the fear that this event
has generated. Still, its easy to see how
most are content to sacrifice the lives of
others to put food on their own table.
From those who hide the truth to those who
sell their contaminated fish, to the office
of the President who has some of the world's
most brilliant scientists on board and yet
he will stand on National television and
declare all is safe and well. The oil is
going, going, gone. In hindsight, now BP
is admitting it is not gone, since they
are unable to spray enough dispersant to
keep it at the bottom of the Gulf. I think
most of us can now accept that the President
is a consummate liar and so telling this
whopper to keep the lining of his political
pockets warm and cozy is not a stretch for
him.
What we need to focus on is what it could
possibly take to get the people to rise
up and call for the end to the spraying
of all dispersants. Line the highways,
flood the White House, call or email the
media outlets. I have written the White
House myself and got a form letter back
BUT do feel if enough of us ask, ask, ask
and ask again, that the sheer volume of
our efforts will bring a shift in policy.
Perhaps emailing this article on the
finding of Corexit in someone's backyard
pool would be enough to inspire Anderson
Cooper to grow some and bring this story
the attention it deserves. If ever there
was an issue that we need to peacefully
revolt against, it is this continuing
spraying of these chemicals which are
having and will have such disastrous
effects on our health and environment,
not to mention the effects it will have
and continue to have on the marine and
wildlife.
We need independent testing and better
oversight than we are seeing now. I watched
Spike Lee's 4 hour special last night on
the aftermath of Katrina, and the ongoing
disaster in the Gulf. Many down there in
the Gulf would be content to have General
Honore sort out this mess. I happen to
agree with their recommendation. Thad
Allen has proven to me that he does not
represent the people of the United States
best interest...

Anyway, hang on Trap, we need people like
you to lead the others to the light~!
