I'm curious about this too. Had/have similar issue.

Drs told me it was acid reflux, yet acid reflux pills did nothing. Said it was allergies or post nasal drip, allergy medicine did nothing. One said my tonsils needed to come out, surgeon said tonsils were fine and I was just getting old (22 at the time).

Singer 1010, there are herbs that will help, the problem is finding the ones that do. I had really good luck with some I got from an accupuncturist ages ago, but that was several states from where I live now, have no idea who the manufacturer is. I also had some benefit from quercitin, but the mysterious herbs were far better. If you live in the Las Cruces area it was a Dr. Nakano.

In the meantime, saltwater gargling a couple times a day should help with the inflammation and pain. Tweet
