Re: Holistic Horizons cleanse
If your stool is thin and fragmented then you clearly have a blockage along the way. It happened to me and I unblocked it by doing enemas because I can't afford colonics. At first I couldn't hold the water but I kept doing numerous little enemas for an hour or so until I felt the water come up to the transverse colon. In the process I moved out a lot of hardened psyllium. After that, my stool had the normal shape again.
Your right sided stool is an impaction as pioneer has described and it won't move out of there until you do a thorough colon cleanse. I also feel an impaction around the hepatic flexture, which is my problem area in the colon. I always have gas there.
It is true that more than 50% of the stool consists of bacteria but if you don't eat you can't eliminate. Peristalsis is triggered by the chewing action in the mouth and by the gastric juices in the stomach and duodenum. This is why fasting should be coupled with fiber intake.
The dandelion is very good for the liver. I used mine to make a liver tonic along with other herbs. It helps some but the elimination is still not satisfying. I wonder if taking it with psyllium, as in the Holistic Horizons cleanse, for 30 day or more will intensify the cleanse. I will definitely add it now and experiment. It is clear that one needs to attack this problem from different angles. Parasite cleansing is important as well, but not indicated when the colon doesn't eliminate.
