Re: Its a fungus, but is it candida?
This is what they're calling Morgellon's, albeit a mild case so far. I had the nasty version, which was helped along by several runs of harsh
Antibiotics .
I believe that it is yeast that has developed a biofilm which enables it to form rudimentary tubes and pumps, thus creating the sensation of movement and stinging. The biofilm is also highly protective and makes it very resistant to treatment.
Chewing minced garlic will bring it out--it opens the pores, and the yeast hate the stuff. Try scraping it off and rubbing it on your palm and you should see the evidence of the biofilm. It is pretty impressive stuff.
I've had good luck with an anti-yeast diet and treating this with Probitics, and Fibrinolytic enyzmes and antifungals. Yet I haven't been able to completely get rid of them.
I haven't found anything that penetrates my skin enough to get to the sub-cutaneous colonies and dormant survivor yeast.
I'm open to any ideas for that.
