As to candida or another fungus, is that info really of any use to us sufferers? I mean, diagnostic procedures are so primitive for fungal infections that 'candidiasis' is basically just a blanket term for any ol massive fungal infestation. There aren't any true narrow-spectrum antifungals, just some stuff some strains build resistance to... That's why people often see their yeast infection prescription clearing up their dandruff or toenails instead.
