Re: what is your point?

I don't like the addiction anology either. I am an alcoholic, I've been sober 25+ years, and I have a geneticly based disease, as do other addicts.
The system likes having people addicted because they are so much easier to manage with a little oxycodon in them.
People consume too much oil because the powers that be do not allow developement of alternatives.
That is like blaming someone who becomes addicted to pain medication. The docotr gave it to them because they needed it, then they go get it on the street because they can't live without it.
But it's so easy to blame the bad, bad, bad addict.
Make someone feel guilty for having a human need, they are easier to manage.
People need to take back control of their own society, and start using their brains, instead of feeling guilty because they have ball point pens that leave carbon footprints.
