Re: No one's looking for stones here.
Yep, I did give this example as a warning to be careful, this lady knew nothing of liver/gallbladder flushes, she was simply trying to cure what she thought was constipation. But large amounts of oil consumed at one time, will cause contraction of the gallbladder, and this is what caused the problem.
Taking the other ingredients of these flushes, is not going to change the fact that large amounts of oil is consumed, and will have the same effect on the gallbladder.
I would advise people to find out if they have any gallstones, particularly large ones, before they attempt any type of liver/gallbladder flushing. To go into these health protocols not knowing what your problems really are, can be very dangerous. The tests are not invasive or dangerous, and may just save you a lot of pain, and possible surgery, in the long term.
Most importantly, (and I know I bang on about this all the time), please people, learn how your body works, learn where your organs are, what functions they perform, how body chemistry works, and how to keep your organs healthy, so you wont fall prey to people that are pushing unproven and possibly dangerous protocols. Go OUTSIDE the internet, as well as research on the internet, there are lots of great books on biology, biological chemistry and anatomy. Then at least you can make an informed decision, instead of relying on the anecdotal evidence of anonymous internet posters. lol, including me.
