Re: do you believe in stones?
Good advice Gina, knowing what is there is better than just trying protocols because you think you may have gallstones. This can be a dangerous way of going about things. Having an ultrasound before doing a liver flush, and then having one after, would also be a good way of finding out whether what is produced by the flush, (if anything) are gallstones, or not.
This is why I reccommend anyone thinking about trying any protocol, to learn about how the body works, learn about anatomy and biology, preferably not from promotional sites on the internet. I've had some pretty dramatic changes in my health, (good ones), through trying different alternative protocols, supplements and herbs, and understanding how these things work, and why they work, is very important. How can a person possibly reccommend something they do not understand? That is just irresponsible.
I looked at
Liver Flushes when I first came to CZ, I have a background in human biology, anatomy and chemistry, so I knew that many of the claims made were false, (although I'm sure the people making them were not intentionally lying), there were some claims that were plausable though, and did bear researching further. What I did see, and see today, particularly on the debate forum, are people who will try and discredit anyone who speaks against this protocol, and anyone who advises caution.
Liver Flushing is an experimental health protocol, not a religious belief, a person shouldn't need to have faith, a person needs to have facts and good information.
