This brings up another point proving these are not real gallstones. You did not mention the size, but I have read posts where people are claiming they passed several cups full of stones in a single flush. Problem with this is that the gallbladder is not large enough to hold that many stones.

Yes, the stones would have stopped if these were really gallstones and if they were really coming from the gallbladder.  

But the decrease is "stone" formation is easily explained. If the gallbladder becomes stagnant then more and more cholesterol saturates the bile. Then you take the olive oil causing this highly saturated bile to be expelled. The cholesterol then reacts with the sterols from the olive oil producing an insoluble cholesterol-sterol complex that look like real gallstones. As you do subsequent flushes the bile is no longer as saturated so less of these cholesterol-sterol complex "stones" are formed.

The formation of "soapstones" will depend primarily on the amount of bile released in conjunction with the amount of oil present since the bile acts as a means of saponification of the oil.

Another point to be made is the fact that real gallstones take quite a while to form.  But again I have heard people saying they did daily flushes and kept getting out "stones" with each flush.  Real gallstones do not form fast enough to have stones coming out daily or even weekly.
