The last statement by "vx" says it all:

Inspite of the differing opinions there is a constant theme; we are all different in our response to things AND we must all be our own advocates, especially in health field matters. Gather information, do your own risk assessment, decide to try it or not. If you do try it and it doesn't seem to work quit taking it and gather more information.

Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean that it won't work for others. If you feel strongly enough that you must share your opinion be sure you identify it as that - your own opinion based upon your own circumstance. Do not tout your opinion as the be all, end all.
