Re: which came first, the allergies or the disease? (edited)
When you go to the doctor for allergies, including asthma, the allergic responses are treated with epinephrine and/or steroids.
And both of those are really bad for you long term
Yes, I totally agree. But this is why I say to build up the adrenal glands. It is the adrenals that produce these compounds for the body preventing the allergies. The difference is that the doctor will basically overdose you on these compounds. Building up the adrenals will allow them to produce what the body needs.
Unlike allergy medicines, which act only to “cover up” allergic symptoms or prevent them temporarily, allergy shots fix the underlying problem of allergies. This occurs because the body treats the injection much like a vaccine, resulting in the production of infection-fighting antibodies against the pollen, dust, mold or pet dander.
This I strongly disagree with. The problem of allergies is not from a lack of antibody production. If it was then we would be constantly be getting sick since the body would not produce sufficient antibodies for pathogens either. So the shots are not fixing the underlying problem, they are masking the underlying problem. Again the underlying cause is adrenal dysfunction.
And personally I am not going to let them inject anything in to me. What about the preservatives and who knows what that are in these shots? If I had allergies I would go with herbs and diet to actually fix the problem rather than mask it with antihistamines or allergy shots.
