Re: How much Iodine daily?
i bought a botte of liqui-kelp cause I couldn't find Lugols anywhere and it says four drops aday which is 150mcg which hardly seems like anything to me. How many Mcg's should I take a day. I feel I'm Iodine deficent, no energy, low body temp, (96.2-96.6 degrees). any suggestions??
You can get 2 oz of 2% lugols at www.swansonvitamins.com for $12+shipping and handling, they have also recently started carrying iodoral 180 tabs for $37.

Drs. Brownstein, Flechas and Abraham recommend AT MINIMUM 25mg iodine to keep pace with the toxic halides -- bromide and fluoride -- in our environment that blocks our iodine receptors all over our bodies and causes many health problems. We are all iodine deficient and bromide toxic and detox symptoms will occur as our body's begin throw off bromides. These symptoms may include:

1. Salt Loading.
2. Stopping iodine for 48 hours to rest the kidneys.

4. Taking several grams vitamin C spread out throughout the day along
with the Iodine Companion Nutrients.
5. Drinking more water.
6. Pulse-dosing (stopping and restarting iodine therapy.)
