It's all about balance, but it's also about retraining your body.
When I first tried raw many years ago, I couldn't handle even ONE day of it. Now, I can go a few weeks before I "must" (lol) have some meat!
Growing up a "meat and potatoes" girl had its problems, for sure - but I was always much bigger on the potatoes and breads...much to my plagued gut now, as an adult.
It's all about finding what works best for the individual. Right now I am thoroughly enjoying a sweet potato with butter and honey and a little pumpkin-pie spice. But that's all - nothing else.
Simplicity is key,
at least for me.
Change is rarely easy, but the benefits outweigh the difficulties in spades!
