no, not meat and potatoes - meat and veggies

which is what you had. you had meatloaf, broccoli, and salad.

Now granted, the meatloaf may very well have had some starch in it, (or maybe not, some good restaurants have learned that extra chopped veggies are just as good a "filler" for meatloaf as flours or breadcrumbs...egg works well as the meatloaf's "binder"

bottom line, protein and starches together don't digest well...many of us, while going through major detox, felt better with meat - just don't add starch with it!

When detox gets out of control, broccol could help as it's a goitrogen. Also, beef has iron and selenium in it. Could explain why that meal made you feel better!
