Re: Combining "thyroid hormones" with iodine - my experience
Hi Trap,
No clue what color, purely speculation, since no insurance and cannot afford out-of-pocket testing at this time. But Thytrophin seems to be one of those "minority" dessicated thyroids. I see very few posts on it between some of the Yahoo Groups and curezone. One site I found, according to my understanding, said it was supposed to attract attacking antibodies in order to spare the thyroid of the person and may need to be taken for up to two years. I am self-muscle testing with it and the Iodine.
Since I do not eat any pork or pork products knowingly, I am truly wondering what I am missing, if anything, in not seeking out a source of freeze dried porcine thyroid.
Since adding the Thytrophin back into my daily regimen most days, I have noticed better coordination, better neurological functioning. I think Dr. Starr said that the CNS - Central Nervous System - is really the first thing to go with hypothyroidism. The differences between the
Iodine and the dessicated thyroid seem to be subtle when it comes to how they affect me. Together, everything seems to work better.
