Hmmm....why would taking thyroid hormone cause the body to use more iodine?

I wonder if the connection to people taking thyroid hormone and increased risk of Breast Cancer is just simply the fact that hypothyroid people are deficient in iodine, and Iodine deficiency contributes to breast cancer.
