Re: MH, paper seminar 108 pages + Glories of 108
Gradual development of love of God may be compared to different states of sugar. First there is the seed of the
Sugar cane, then
Sugar cane, and then the juice extracted from the cane. When this juice is boiled, it forms liquid molasses, then solid molasses, then sugar, candy, rock candy, and finally lozenges. [Cc. Madhya 19.179]
Haribol, MH and CureZone this is a list of sites that write about the various stages and processes of sorghum and molasses mostly. I have not found any complete lists of nutrition yet.

Sorghum, aka Sorghum Molasses: Sorghum is a cane syrup, like molasses, but is extracted from sweet sorghum cane. The juice is purified and concentrated by evaporation into a clear, amber colored, mild flavored syrup. It is most often found in the south-eastern U.S. It can be substituted for light molasses.
King’s Syrup: This is a brand name, associated with Amish food and considered indispensable to make an authentic shoofly pie. It is most like dark corn syrup.
Molasses: Molasses is a liquid
Sugar extracted from the juice of the sugar cane or sugar beets. In making refined table sugar, the sugar cane is harvested, mashed and the raw juices are boiled to extract the sugar grains for further processing. The remaining syrup is called first molasses. First molasses is then thinned with water and re-boiled so that more raw sugar can be extracted. The leftover syrup from the second boiling is second molasses, and so on. After three or more boilings, molasses is called blackstrap, which has a bitter taste, and is used primarily for cattle feed and industrial purposes.
Molasses is sold in a variety of grades. The highest grade is made from clarified and reduced pure sugarcane juice, before the sugar extraction process begins. The Grandma Molasses Company sells this as their “gold label molasses.” Their “green label” is the first molasses described above. Either high grade or first molasses is appropriate for cooking. Molasses from sugar beets has a bitter taste, and is not sold for consumption.
Some manufacturers will make sugar and molasses from sugar cane which is picked unripe and then ripened through exposure to sulphur. In that case, molasses will be labeled “sulphured.” Although cheaper, try not to buy sulphured molasses – the sulphur taste is especially retained in the syrup.

The Sorghum Mill:
If you're lucky enough to come in the Fall, you can witness the harvest and milling of the sorghum cane. Similar to molasses, but much sweeter, the sorghum juice is extracted from the cane by a horse-powered press. On a good day, they can extract 150 gallons. It's then boiled down to produce a rich, thick golden syrup used to sweeten everything from biscuits to oatmeal to ice cream. (The sorghum is made on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during September and October.)

Copper is glorified in many of the vedic scriptures for having healing properties to it. Overall it looks like sorghum is sweeter and has much more potassium.

//www.curezone.org/art/read.asp?ID=29&db=6&C0=17 ~~This person is clearly against all sugar no matter what stage and did not take the time to tell which stages the sugars are acceptable. He is right that too much sugar is consumed by people, so of course their will be complications. I ask this, Put sugar and animal flesh on the counter and see which one spoils first. Then you know which one you should cut out of the diet first.
One mother asked Mahatma Gandi to ask her son to stop eating sugar. Gandi asked her to bring him in one week. The mother returned with her child in one week and Gandi asked him to stop eating sugar. He agreed and the mother asked Gandi why he did not say that one week earlier. Gandi replied, I had to give up sugar myself before I ask someone else. If any one finds the actual quotes, please forward them to me please. Thank you.

White Sugar has been bleached, chemified, toxified, and some factories even add bone from animals to it for whatever sadistic reasons. To top it off: excesses of sugar in bodies that are low in oxygen and which are acidic due to mistreatment, and which are trying to convert the simple sugar.. the excess sugars cause explosions in the stomach, and a process happens in which alcohol is then made inside the body.
I am saying the closer to nature, the better we all are. After all Krsna is a Cowherd boy (Real Original Cowboy). He is also known as Gopala. Go is cow and Pala is protector "protector of cows"
Krsna, who knows all sports and games, then called together the cowherd boys and spoke as follows: “Hey cowherd boys! Let’s play now! We’ll divide ourselves into two even teams.”
Research Raw honey before raising arms against nature’s gift. Levulose sugar* (*found in raw honey) can help even diabetics if used correctly. If I find that Honey book compiled by a doctor from 1930s i will post it without a doubt. Old beekeepers that were very healthy even into 100 years old and had all teeth use to sell the clear honey to the people and keep the dirty honey for themselves,.. unknowingly or knowingly, the dirty honey was packed with nutrition from pollen.
Try looking up "fructo oligo saccharides" and "Gur" or "Jaggery" for alternatives too.
I personally know 2 Hare Krsna priests who have done
The Master Cleanse .. that means they lived on pure sugar cane juice, with a touch of lemon, ginger, cayenne pepper, and water for 40 days, they get between 3 and 6 sleep per day and perform all regular routine duties including traveling, preaching, distributing books, cleaning temple, etc.
Balarama loves honey, any who reads Krnsa book will, get a better understanding. George Harrison contributed to the printing of Krsna book by donating 19,000 $. That story alone is priceless. Any serious Beattle fan will take a read of Krsna book or at least his 2 page commentary in Krsna book. George Harrison also has one book called “Chant and Be Happy”.

Lord Caitanya went on to describe the combination of devotional ecstasies known as sättvika and vyabhichari: “These tastes are like a combination of yogurt, sugar candy, ghee, black pepper, and camphor, and are as palatable as sweet nectar” (Cc. Madhya 19.182). There is nothing deceptive or incomplete in this language, and yet it is language—the branch pointing to the moon in the sky. After hearing of the taste of love of Godhead, a devotee should aspire for that love and practice devotional service so that he may taste it for himself.
