Re: Pau Darco
Hv, "Also keep in mind that there are other things in the body that control Candida such as the acids produced by the flora. Therefore a person should be able to get Candida under control despite copper levels. The biggest mistakes I see people making are their trying to kill the Candida instead of controlling it like the body normally does, and people trying to alkalinize, which just promotes Candida overgrowth and virulence."
Yes. I know. I study ALL of your posts on all of the CZ forums. I just click on your name on any message; and it brings up a list of all your posts throughout CZ. Very convenient. ...and no, I am not a stalker.
Of course, I do want to kill all fungus, including Candida. Controlling the yeast will be no problem as long as I follow your bitters, TMG, etc. advice.
My other concern for possible copper imbalance for myself are it's other side effects that are mentioned in the article. Those are growth and developmental delay, ADD, etc. that have occurred in my early years, though it was called hyperactive in those years. They have been no problem in my later years. For example, I have the opposite of ADD now (way overworked adrenals). But something had started then and remain with me 6 decades later. Such as chronic constipation and sinus swelling with rare infections and high anxiety; no matter what diet I've tried or supplements. The copper toxicity article make more sense to me than others that I've read; and I've read many.
I have done oral chelations a few times in the past. I'm now taking IP6 for a short while too. I just don't know if copper is involved in these chelations. If so, how do I get it back in balance? If not, how do I improve the balance? Am I one of those who have an affinity toward it, and it never leaves my body successfully? So many worries. I really need to do more research. And what if I'm chasing a wild goose? Whenever I catch it, it will be delicious for sure.
