A story
When I made the decision to go both raw and vegan ( I was still eating fish at the time), I never looked back. About 2 months into my new lifestyle, I was out for a walk late one evening. It was snowing. I had the feeling of a presence behind me. I turned and looked over my shoulder and right there with me was a female deer and her young fawn. Usually deer are pretty protective of their babies, however they both walked with me just feet separating us. They were very calm with me. The energy I picked up from them was one of trust. As I walked with them for several blocks I could feel a vibe. The best way I can describe it was a kind of "thank you."
That was the beginning of many events like that. I can go hiking now and wild animals will just come up to me. I was sitting one time near a waterfall, meditating with my eyes closed and on that occasion and when I opened my eyes, there were tiny birds sitting on my feet. They were playing there and began tugging at my shoelaces.
I read some shamanic accounts of this kind of thing by some amazonian vegans. They said when you no longer vibrate with the imprint of a predator, aspects of nature open up to you that didn't before. I experienced this first hand.
