My face has been like this off and on all summer and fall. It is like someone took a blowtorch to my face, and just when it seems like it is healing it started all over again. To list all I've done would take to long. This morning when I woke with thick crust of dead skin on my face and chin, I decided to try vasoline. It seems to be working. Layers of dead skin have been coming off all day and the vasoline keeps new dead skin from forming. It might be worth a try. Good luck.
