The only hate, hysteria and actual lies came from the person that has now been banned. Trying to get others to take the blame for this persons failings is disrespectful to the many people this person has harmed, demeaned, patronised and lied about.

I don't believe there is a 'mob', and to label people in this way is also disrespectful to the people who have spent a lot of time and effort defending those who have been misstreated by the person that has now been banned. Standing up for what is right and just, in how people are treated, is not hate or hysteria, it is a good and proper thing to do.
