If one does not have adequate supply of alkaline minerals FROM FOOD not from gimmicky pills and supplements, it will make one MUCH WORSE!!!

And one WOULD NOT store heavy metals in one's tissues if one had sufficient alkaline minerals in them, so would not need special treatment for them.

So are you willing to drink lead carbonate or mercury carbonate since they are alkaline and therefore you believe will not harm you?

In addition, it one has plenty of alkaline reserves, one's saliva will be primarily alkaline, and therefore one will not tend to have heavy metals, such as mercury from amalgams, convert into bio-absorb-able forms and become a problem!!!!
