...those are the three magic words in natural health & healing (just like in real estate the 3 magic words are location, location, location).

Are we doing ENOUGH? Is the product pure/strong ENOUGH? Are we taking ENOUGH?

Juicing is good, juice fasting is "enough" (better)

6 cloves of garlic a day SHOULD be enough, but we've record of people having up to 50...so if you can, more is "better enough"

3 droppersful of cayenne x 3x daily? 'Seems like enough.

3 droppersful of echinacea x 3x daily? WHOA BACK NELLIE...'NOT **NEARLY** ENOUGH.

4 droppersful = almost 1 teaspoon. I would have started with 2 teaspoon at "initial symptoms" (with the garlic), and expected substantially relief within 1-2 hours. If not, another 2 teaspoons...and so on.

"They've" BS'd us with dosages. Back in the days of the great herbalists, all tinctures/tonics were sold in 8oz bottles (or bigger), and the dosage was in teaspoons (or even tablespoons). And now we have these weeny droppers and feel like we're 'being dangerous' if we take more than a few drops or droppersful.

Rick and I have had a couple of colds & bout of the flu in the last 13 years (all before we understood Echinacea). In the last 7 years, we've had ZERO. And it's all because we knew to take "enough" Echinacea at the very first sign of anything...and continue taking "enough" until it went away.

Once the bug/pathogen has had the chance to multiply & proliferate to the 'symptom causing stage', continuing to bolster the immune system and kill with the garlic is something your immune system appreciates greatly...but the symptoms now have to be dealt with...and that's where the Lung/Bronchial Tincture and the Lobelia come in.

(Of course, using them 'early on' when you KNOW the infection is in the lungs is always a great preventative, because whenever we have "flow", there's a less likely chance the bugs can breed & live). Using them after the symptoms have appeared is also very helpful (not just for relief, but for prevention)...if you don't get all that mucous OUT, it just shrinks/dries/cakes up in your lungs - and the next time a critter pops in to say hi, the lungs will be a perfect feeding & breeding grounds.

:::sigh::: take it if you want to (I'm not the big 'herbal sheriff of your body)...BUT NON-ORGANIC POWDERED HERBAL EXTRACTS? Genetically-Modified SOY? AND (omg) SYNTHETIC/CHEMICAL "vitamins"? Your body is having to expend a LOT of energy (that it could be using to fight) to figger out what to do with all these unnatural chemicals and then process/detox them (and who KNOWS what level of toxins from the non-organic herbs).

'Sorry to hear this one "gotcha", but now you have a much better idea of how to stop one from getting you again (and the next time you travel, take several teaspoons of echinacea every day, whether you feel sick or not...then you'll never have to feel sick).
