Re: For Chrisb1 and others :)
Hey, L*u*l*u* and Rainy Day!
Thanks, L*u*l*u* for remembering my previous fast:).. Yeah, I was hanging here quite a lot and all of u are dear to me coz we know each other, even by our id's, for quite a long time.. Rainy Day, answering ur question about my ED (ot whatever it can be called), for the past couple of months I quite managed it. I am not gonna lie and say everything is perfect and managed on 100% but i am on the way to it. I can see that. As I have mentioned earlier I prepared myself for this short fast by eating everything very healthy and mainly organic (we have our own garden). And b4 I was eating not that bad. If I had ED in the stage I had I would not have managed it. I am on the way to it, I can sense it.
I do not really like fasting. I do not see it as a way of my life (I have already mentioned that some time back). Fo me it will be enough to fast 24 h a week (sometimes on water and sometimes on juices)just to give my body a wee bit of rest. So I do not think I will be here on this forum often if any. To support others - yes, but not more than that. All I want is to take care of my pressious body, That's all:).. As I have already mentioned, one day I was on right combining of food and fased 24 h a week for 2 and a half months. And I got the results (conditions of my skin, the brighteness of my eyes and just overall) much much better than even doing my 10 dayers! I do think there is no point to fast all the time (but 24 -36 hh a week) and do not give ur body kinda shock. Just eat healthily and preferably combine ur food correctly. That is all it requires:)... If u have some condition (I have condida) or too toxing or overweight) then a fast could be good for u just to 'reset' ur body clock and make it function better by eating healthily after fast. It is ok for me. Or if u have a flue (or something worse) or some infection then a
Water Fast will be of great help. But if a person fast and then pig out on junk and then fast again then I do not think fast will bring him/her any advantage. My opinion.
As for dry fasting, L*u*l*u*, yes it all make sense, dear. From the very beginning of my present fast I did not feel much thirst but after day 3-4 my body requires more water. It seem like my throut is alway dry even if I drink water. Perhaps I need to forget about dry fast and listen to my body. Do I have other choice other than that? Nope. :)
I am about to finish my day 7. :).. Still feel like 'boiled chicken'! On the streets I walk quite slowly and the expression of my face is kinds frozen. Haha. I did not faint or something like that but feel weakness but not strong one. Ok, anyhoo, just 3 and something days to go and it is me! Always wanted to go for 14 days but 10 days is not bad too. A lot of organic vegies and friuits (from our garden are waiting for me. I bought oranges and some grape already! Getting ready to finish my fast :D... Do not feel hungry at all.... Looking forward to end my fast next Thu! :)))
Nadia :)
