Bottom line + video link... Re: So sowwy, VitaMix does not equal "juicer/juice"...Re: juicer opinion & tip
Pulp = fecal matter/sawdust
Either the body OR the juicer ends up extracting the vital nutritional goodies from the pulp/roughage of the produce. The pulp/roughage ends up in the toilet - it's only/basic purpose is the 'fiber'.
"Whole Food Juice" = no such thing. It's simply smooshed/chewed "liquid produce"...and of course, a BIT of the 'goodies' are extracted in the 'whirling/crushing/spinning/maceration'. The body has to work HARD to extract the goodies out of the pulp...and the energy spent "working hard to extract the goodies" COULD be energy spent for healing (that's the main goal of
juicing - to give the body more energy to use the fantastic 'nutritional IV').
And of course, because virtually none of us "chew our juices" (or our smoothies), our body has to work even harder due to the lack of digestive enzymes/saliva that we don't add...and the stomach/liver/pancreas was EXPECTING to be mixed in before the juice hit the intestinal tract.
There are two things that kill enzymes - heat and oxygen/oxidation -- even if the "smooshed produce" doesn't get hot in the Vitamix - the rapid blending/blades/high rpm kills more enzymes. The longer it runs (heat or no heat) the more enzymes die. That's why centrifugal juicers are never recommended (they extract VERY little of the vitamins/minerals and kill virtually ALL of the enzymes).
Juice from the Norwalk is "thin" and appears to be "weak" (check out this video to see it:
http://www.nwjcal.com/video.htm)...this
would be because of the total absence of roughage/pulp. BUT because ALL the nutrients/enzymes have been extracted from the pulp into the juice, it produces far & away THE most powerfully healing juices.
So now we know the rest of the story (and just how many 'stories' we've been told!) -
Juice ON!
