Zapping a tooth problem for me is simple. I place the positive paddle (wrapped in a salt water soaked paper towel) against the outside of the face next to the affected jaw / tooth and zap using the standard timing (7-20-7-20-7).

It seems to have a very rapid effect usually, but to really do a good job, I zap several days in a row.
