Re: Bio-identical hormones?

Please do. I had an appt in Ny on May 24. Previously I had been prescribed by my other doctor estrace and prometrium but did not react well to prometrium. She prescribed a combo pill of estradiol/oral micronized progesterone on a daily basis, twice/day. Basically except for the dosage and timing, the hormones are basically the same. After a couple days I had the same reaction, stomach cramping, hair fallout. I emailed her because I live in Mx and she prescribed activella. I found out that activella is a synthetic progestin, which is what she said she didn't like in progesterone at her office. So I'm in limbo here. After paying $400, I am back to exactly what I was taking before I went to the doctor...so I'm sick of all this time and $$ I am putting into this. I emailed the doc again and am waiting for a response. I would appreciate hearing what they tell you.
