Re: leaky gut syndrome, candida and allergies:need help
HI SOG25,
I don’t have the answers either as I’m plodding along like everyone else trying to learn as much as I can so that I can heal myself. But I’ve looked through your posts and tried to put together as much information as I can from what I have learned from others on these forums.
I definitely don't think you should starve yourself by going on a really restrictive diet as it will no doubt weaken your immune system even more. I think that if you can afford it you should see a nutritionist or dietician to help you with your diet because you should really be following a low carbohydrate diet which has a lot of vegetables in it but since you've got intolerances to a lot of vegetables it makes it quite difficult to get all the nutrients you need so you probably need a nutritionist to help you with your diet so that you get to eat a diet that's as balanced as possible and will give your body and immune system all the nourishment it needs.
I personally am not following the anti-candida diet but have cut down on carbohhydrates by only eating brown rice about once a week and even though I have cut out a lot of
Sugar from my diet I still eat fruit.
This is a link to a post from another curezoner in which she gives a link to a list of top 10 foods to avoid which I found quite helpful.

The only thing that I wouldn't recommend from her post is psysllium husks. I was using it before and it is very good for bowel movements and for absorbing toxins but I read somewhere that it isn't very good for leaky gut as it is quite abrasive and was compared to sandpaper. But of course do your own research and it may be okay if it’s only used short term.
Looking over what you’ve posted about probiotics, the ones I am using at the moment (when I can afford to) are from the Renew life brand. But as a rule most probiotics which are in a glass bottle and are stored in the fridge are generally quite good. If you have problems with the capsules then you can take the probiotic by breaking the capsule and putting the powder in a little bit of cold water to drink before your meals. I think there are some digestive enzymes that come in capsules so you can do the same for those as well.
As for Apple cider vinegar – It isn’t a digestive enzyme but it can help improve digestion (I found all my information on ACV from
http://www.earthclinic.com/)
and there is also an ACV forum on curezone). I have tried it in the past by taking a tablespoon in a little bit of warm water before meals and it always stopped the odour straight away but after a few days it would return and be a lot worse than before – I don’t know why that is (maybe because it cleanses the system and so released a lot of toxins) but I haven’t used it since then. And Braggs is supposed to be the best brand as some other brands are too acidic. Also the mother is the cloudy bit at the bottom of the bottle which has most of the goodness in it.
I use Stevia at the moment and it is a good alternative to
Sugar if you are on the Candida diet.
In terms of spices you just have to read the label but they say you should avoid spices and seasonings if you are on the candida diet as most of them contain sugar.
Oil pulling is something that I don’t know much about but here is a description of it from the oil pulling forum on this website

In terms of getting rid of parasites, the product a lot of people on the
parasite forum talk about is Humaworm. I have ordered it but it hasn’t arrived yet but it may be a good idea to have a look at their website
http://www.humaworm.com
There is also a product called
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement (Miracle Mineral Solution) which treats a lot of illnesses including
parasites and candida. I think it is worth having a look at
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement as it is one of the cheapest products out there.
http://www.miraclemineral.org/
I have used
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement in the past and stopped using it as it was making my odour problem worse and also because it causes nausea (from toxins being released) and the fact that I was really starting to hate the taste and smell of it. I realise now that it was probably making my odour problem worse because it was working as dead
parasites release toxins and bacteria and funguses and also because I was increasing the dosage too quickly. But I have started using it again as I was on the Paragone cleanse and found that my odour was getting worse (because of the die-off) and so I have stopped paragone and I’m using the MMS but going really slowly at 2 drops three times a day. I will let you know how I get on with that. I am also taking Bromelain tablets three times a day in between meals which is supposed to kill
parasites by digesting them (from what I learned from the
parasite support forum). I definitelyy think that MMS is worth having a look at and also have a look at the
parasite forum and see what other people have posted on there.
These are only suggestions as I am definitely no expert, so please, please, please do your research before you begin using any of the products I have talked about.
If you have any questions about anything that I have written here, please feel free to ask.
I wish you all the best.
