Forgive my igonorance, but could someone enlighten me as to what a CT scan is in context to the post i have snipped below.

I had a CT scan (because of a pain in right abdomen for a year) which revealed that the whole of my transverse colon was remarkably loaded. Quite incredibly the consultant said it would do no harm to leave it there!!!

Anyway, after my first colonic my therapist said that
