SuuuuperBread! (was Re: Can you OD on nutritional yeast?)

>>>

…Redstar which is super yummy!  I just wish they have a non-fortified version. If I ever find one, I'll let everybody know.

<<<

Can you imagine the kind of culinary potential Redstar has…  Replacing MSG and Panko Bread are just two off the top of my head!

>>>

I'd get some Miracle II moisturizer/lotion if I were you - it's THE bomb!

<<<

Yeah, I've seen you mentioned it quite a few times in other posts.  Does it do anything to thinning hair and soft nails too?

>>>

Esp. after LF, I’d get really dry, itchy scalp with lots of dandruff!?!   Is that normal?  nope.  Generally dandruff is a fungus that is ultimately cured by the body becoming less acidic.  'Tis likely a true 'detox reaction' from all the toxins/acids you're releasing.

<<<

Yeap… Two of the four LFs I woke up in the middle of the nite and scratched my scalp like crazy.  One I scratched the side of my nostrils.  The last one I didn’t scratch.  Will see what happens with the next flush…  With the amount of garlic I ingested, I sure had killed a lot of those critters.  I’m actually quite surprise that I’ve never seen any critters/parasites in my poop though.

>>>

My husband asked if my anus has turned into a trumpet…… LOL! That's hilarious! I know that trumpet! Surprised To help with the gas, try some peppermint tea (just put the leaves in a pot and pour boiling water over them, cover and let steep for 10-15 minutes...don't boil the leaves, just pour boiling water on them - no other heat).

<<<

Dried leaves okay?  Does it have peppermint or any mint will do?  I know I can get fresh organic mint leaves; not sure about peppermint; never look for it.  I suppose I can grow some on my own J.

>>>

And you can add a teaspoon of charcoal to every dose of IF#2 - that'll help adsorb some more of the toxins that are being released.

<<<

Wow, that’s a lot!  1 tsp for every tsp of IF#2?  I’ve been adding 1/4tsp to every tsp of IF#2 which I take 3 times a day.

>>>

The yellow skin can be caused by the carrot juice.

<<<

Absolutely.  Whatever carrot that didn’t get assimilated and eliminated (fast enough) got re-absorbed and purged thru the skin.  With the amount of carrot juice I consume, it’s a miracle that I didn’t turn into a walking carrot stick.  (I used to take a fraction of what I take now and was yellow all over.  My MD thought I had some serious liver issue.)  I know that it’s the CEs!  I dunno exactly what it does to take the load off the other elimination organs, all I know is that after 3 initial CEs, my yellow fingers were gone.  Now, I’m only left with slightly yellow palms.  I really think CE has been under-appreciated and under-utilized.  It deserves the same status quo as LF if not more.  I’ve come to realize that LF excels at purging stones esp. big stones and CE excels at purging everything else… mostly mucous, stale bile liquid, thin mud or sludge…).  And, for every cycle of LF, the purge always begin with some stones, followed by loads of mucous and ends with some clear mucous or white onion skins.  It’s been pretty consistent for me.

>>>

When I do the liver/charcoal poultices, mine smell 'fresh' the next morning too...but I can tell they really help my liver.  I’m going to do the clay bath as soon as I get the clay. That'll be great.

<<<

Yep…  It smells so fresh, I was always tempted to re-use it!

>>>

Can you get your hubby to do some seriously deep massage on those tight muscles? And don't forget foot reflexology for those muscles!  I know I need to flush more often.

<<<

I’ve been asking him to rub the Deep Tissue Massage Oil on me after every shower lately.  He’s the worst masseur in the world! I’m not kidding, he doesn’t know how to use his fingers at all.  On top of that, he can’t stand the “Bengay” smell.  Well, needless to say, I just give-up…..

>>>

Meanwhile, I’m hoping the milk thistle seed would come to the rescue and the BC&F tincture will help with the repair and nourish the damaged tissues. BF&C is great stuff...and milk thistle is fantastic for the liver (in a LOT of different ways).

<<<

Have you ever tried Golden Coin Grass?  That’s next in line if the milk thistle seed doesn’t work out…

>>>

I finally realized superfood is the one messing up my taste bud; although I didn’t take that much of it, only 4-6Tbsp daily. With all the changes you're making in your body, you likely can't just blame the SF for the change in taste buds.  Ours have changed many times, depending upon a LOT of different variables.  Salt is particularly at issue.

<<<

Mine change many times over the past month…  esp. my sensitivity to sweetness in many veggies has been greatly enhanced.  And, for the last 2/3 LFs, I’d taste nothing afterwards and esp. sweetness!

>>>

But, living solely on SF and carrot juice on those dreadful post LF days did throw me off balance. Solely carrot juice & superfood for more than a week, soley.  ::::sigh:::  I'm not even going to 'go there'.

<<<

Oh…No..  Only for a few days in a row.   As soon as I re-gained some energy, I would juice more variety.

>>>

Ya live ya learn, eh?  We've ALL got to remember that when we first start juice fasting & cleansing that our bodies DO react differently as they get adjusted.  When this happens, sticking to the program basics are essential.  By adding/changing things because we think we know what is happening and what we think we need (when all we need is to just 'stick with the program' and 'see it through'), we can seriously slow down or negative impact our progress.

<<<

Absolutely!!!  It’s so good to hear your voice and all the re-asurance and encouragement!

>>>

blue/purple (kale, beets, cabbage) and whites (cabbage, fennel, potatoes). Those are all great!  I've never heard of juicing potatoes, but if it works for you, then fine :)

<<<

I’ve even juiced yam!  Potatoes are wonderful.  You should try it!  Speaking of juice…  Have you ever tried the organic carrot juice from Trader Joes?  It tastes so rich and sweet just like the juices out of a twin gear GreenStar.  Although I can never imagine myself using that machine on a daily basis.  I only brought in some carrots to test out my friend’s machine.  It was a pain in the neck!  I do have to admit the taste (and most likely the quality?) of the juice is superior to the Omega.

>>>

I take watermelon once in a while (with lots of ginger or cayenne).  Other mushy fruits like mango, papaya, peaches I either eat (one slice) and put the rest through the juicer and mix with water; everything at very low rpm. Yeah, sometimes I eat some of the mushy ones, too.  But I LOVE peach juice to mix with the others...yum.

<<<

Ah…  I ran a watermelon test last nite.  Wow!  I was waving back and forth and I ended up with a mild headache all nite.  I think certain fruits/veggies with what Chinese Herbal Medicine would call the “cold/cool” property are way too detox for me.  Anyone battling with any chronic diseases are doomed to have over-worked adrenals.  And, when you’re on IP, you’re both physically and mentally exhausted, it certainly would hurt to give those little guys a little TLC.  I haven’t had a period/menstruation since started IP (~2mths).  It’s probably normal, given that all the energy went into detoxing/healing, there’s nothing left for reproduction!  Well, at least I try to convince myself with that theory.  Anyways, I ordered some ashwangada root powder (for adrenals) as well as your female formula (for the other glands).  Siberian ginseng would be next inline if those two didn’t work out.

BTW, I love peach juice too.  I also found strawberries or celery leaves very fragrant and can jazz up the juice and get rid of some less palatable taste in certain veggies.

>>>

....and Dr. Christopher NEVER used any type of dead grain like "flour'.  We're working our way off flour this summer.

<<<

Are you going to make “live” flour made with raw sprouted grain!?!  I’d be the 1st in line to purchase that!  Oh… And toss in some low-heat and slow bake recipes as well….  Hopefully, I’ll be healed by the summer.  And together, we can make some SuuuuuperBread!  …Drooling Badly…………..

-Thx and Madly In Luv w/ U  (Don’t tell Rocky…  Wink…Wink…Wink  ;))
