It sounds like Swedish customs is less Gestapo-like than Danish customs :)

The problem is, customs in Denmark has created a system where they open almost every package and they then charge you 150 kr.(!) merely for opening it. On top of that, they charge 30-40% import tax on whatever is in the package, from DVDs to clothes to Ebay goods. That way they make an enormous amount of money and the more packages they open, the more they earn.

So if I order CD worth 130 kr. from the US plus 70 kr. shipping, I will have to pay 150 kr. processing fee for having them opening it, plus about 80 kr. for the CD and shipping, total 230 kr. That makes 360 kr. for buying a CD from USA!!!

I assume it's also a way of creating a trade wall between US and EU so that pricey poor quality European goods will not have to compete with US goods. I cannot believe that the US government tolerates such a practice.

Anyway, I have been to many doctors but they are not interested. I had to pay out of my own pocket to go to a private hospital(Skodsborg) and a stomach specialist. At last I was diagnosed with a protozal infection but they were not interested in treating it nor making specialised stool tests(beyond the initial one I had) since they told me it would clear by itself. It has been almost 10 years and I still have it full force. I'm done with 10.000 kroners doctors, I'll treat myself instead. As I'm writing this, my stomach is still aching.

I have tried lots of stuff from herbs to probiotics but it only makes it worse. I have tried gluten free diet, SCD diet, living off protein powders, Antibiotics and much more. I have been tested for celiac disease, crohns and other stuff. The only thing that helps is a two week Water Fast when things become unbearable. Tweet
