Re: Hard to find antiprotozoal meds

Sounds like your doctors are horrible (but don't worry our doctors are horrible too :)

Just a couple of thoughts:

You mentioned garlic.  Garlic is probably the best antibiotic you can find.  Make sure you use fresh garlic, make sure you pulverize it (the finer it is pulverized, the more allicin is released).   Garlic I think will kill of the lower-level protozoa like giardia but may be ineffective against some of the stubborn protozoa like b. hominis.  You could also look at neem, and berberine herbs like golden seal, myrrh, frankincense.  Essential oils also are very powerful killers.  Some of those that come to mind are frankincense, rosemary etc.  Oil of oregano is another potent killer (see Dr. Cass Ingram's info)>

"I have tried lots of stuff from herbs to probiotics but it only makes it worse. I have tried gluten free diet, SCD diet, living off protein powders, antibiotics and much more. I have been tested for celiac disease, crohns and other stuff. The only thing that helps is a two week water fast when things become unbearable."

This would point that indeed it is protozoa that is causing the problems.  Probiotics would worsen the problem according to the info I have read as protozoa feed on bacteria.
