Antibiotics can definitely be a factor, but not everyone who has Candida has taken anti-biotics. I have relatives that had Candida before we even knew what Candida was, and anti-biotics were not used back then.
Problem is more with our foods. Processed food being a big culprit, Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) is in everything. Aspartame. Microwaving food (almost all fast food is microwaved to defrost) is major.
Candida doesn't happen from one thing, it's a large combination of things, but the first thing to look at is your food.
