In my experience, meat doesn't cause Candida. How people prepare the meat (microwaving in particular but also cooking), processing ( preservatives ), and how the animal is treated (animal should be pasture fed, no steroids/hormones) matters, but meat in itself is very healthy. Liver (of a pasture fed animal only!) is one of the most nutrient dense and healthy foods you can find.
You can have the same problems (or worse) with grains in my experience, just from processing and adding Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) and vegetable oil to just about everything. It's amazing how they mess up something as simple as bread these days. Store bought cereals are as bad or worse, even the "healthy" ones. You can find decent breads and bread products, you just need to be informed. Groups like the "Weston Price Foundation" can help people do that in your area.
