Re: My theory on candida epidemic

In my original post I did not say that probiotics are not helpful. On the contrary I believe they are the best approach we have to control candida, primarily by increasing intestinal lactic acid.

As for probiotics colonizing the intestines, well I would like to believe it, but as far as I can tell, it is just a 'feel good' claim made by those selling the products. I have never seen any proof of it. In fact my own experience, and I read about this from others too, is that soon after stopping a probiotic, yeast growth normally bounces back quite quickly.

You want some proof? Okay, check out this page: http://www.yeastinfectionadvisor.com/probioticsforyeast.html
