candida diet is no good for people with sluggish or overburdened livers.high meat and fat (remember that guy drinking 1/2 a litre of olive oil per day to maintain his weight on candida diet? he posted on here about 4 months back) screw up the liver more.

high protein diets raise cytochrome p450 in the liver and increase the phase 1 pathway further.high fats (as on candida diet) clog the liver.

you need carbohydrates in much higher levels than candida diet proclaims , and meat and fats in lower amounts (and no trans fats , fried foods or processed oils). Tweet
