Great post Mouseclick.
But lets go one step further: if you are serious about weightloss and preventing toxemia, (which I am certain you are) I suggest not combining fruit WITH salad.

Fruit on its own....yes, but not WITH salad; and even then do not combine acid fruits with sweet fruits, but combine sweet with sub-acid, and acid with sub-acid, and your digestion will improve even more, and prevent further toxemia which results in weight-gain and potential disease.

This was the experience of Dr William Howard Hay MD. and Dr Shelton who came to the same conclusion independently of one another.

I have been posting this information on this forum for months and where I would hope that some people would adhere to it to see its tangible results.

Also: only eat when hungry, (Natural Hygiene) which could be any old time, but "listen to your body" as Fonty used to say, and this will reap huge rewards for your health and longevity too.

Natural Hygiene has always maintained not to snack between meals which is also a big no-no, so I am pleased you have learnt on that score.

Best cooking method to secure the max' nutrition by miles is "steaming" for as short a time as possible.
NEVER Irradiate or microwave your food as this will destroy most of the nutrient value of the food.
