Re: I Don't Know If I Can Continue Living Any More
Hi Palaecro,
I think Andreas is all for being a vegetarian if I'm not mistaken. I just want to mention that I was a vegetarian for years. For me, at first I felt better because it got me off the twinkies and onto veggies and whole grains. However ultimately I became very ill on the diet, although I had studied vegetarian cooking for health and was combining properly.
It seems that many who are adrenal depleted need a LOT of protein and less carbs. I do much better on a diet as described in the book Protein Power or the Pericone plan, as do many people dealing with adrenal issues and infections.
Also,
juicing is great, but if you are dealing with infections such as candida it has to be done carefully and in moderation. Too much of the simple sugars and carbs in the juice can mess with blood
Sugar and feed infections. But I agree with you that it's fantastic in small quantities. Especially if you throw some wheatgrass into it.
Also a person could easily learn how to detox by reading this site. The poster mentioned that she abused her body. Perhaps a
Colon Cleanse followed by liver cleanse would help. I found
Oxypowder to be the easiest and most effective colon cleanse, and I did 5 of the
Hulda Clark Liver Flushes with great results (although everyone should know that there is some risk involved and read the posts on this site carefully to make your own decision).
So yes, diet and nutritional support is key. Cleansing can help. Lastly, and just as important, emotional and spiritual growth and support are essential. Taking time each day to do something you enjoy, removing as much big stress as you can, and developing a more peaceful inner life through counseling, God (Jesus), reading, etc, surrounding yourself with positive and supportive people as much as possible (Find a good church where the people will love you if you're unable to get out much to meet others)... These are all things that can help restore you.
Blessings
