Hi - I totally understand what you're feeling from first-hand experience. Please know that it does not need to be permanent. You will have joy again.

First, I must share that God has a plan for your life. I don't believe that He did this to you, but He will help you come through this if you'll turn to Him. He loves you. Secondly, After having gone through so much trauma, have you gotten any kind of counseling? That's essential to recovering. After going through trauma you're body will tend to be in constant fight or flight if you don't get healing and deal with what goes on inside your head. You need to get to a place where you're really calm inside. Counseling along with prayer can help you get to where you're not always in a state of fight or flight.

Thirdly, you said that you abused your body. Can I ask what you mean by this? Was it by stress, drugs...? If it was chemical, you may need to do some other forms of detox. Is it possible that you're carrying some type of infection? That can be worked with also.

I know what it's like to be lonely due to illness. I urge you to see this as a temporary thing, and use the time it takes to get well as a time of spiritual and emotional growth. If you do, you'll have so much to offer others. You'll also know a lot about alternative health and you'll be able to really help a lot of people you come across in life.

By the way, I see someone told you to get off the drugs. Please NEVER get off the corisone suddenly. It took me 2 years to drop from 20 mg a day. I tried to do it suddenly and got really sick.
