Re: Calcium Allergy
Hi,
I read your post and the response trail. I have encountered much of the same, and really believe it is due to calcium as well. It started with creepy crawling sensations on my legs (but all the time, not just when trying to sleep or relax, so not typical RLS), then moved UP my body, my hip joints, elbow, shoulder joints. I have complete pain at most times, along with other symptoms - mine are prefixed with an X, from your original list. I started to believce that it was calcium after I took a normal dose over the course of 2 days, and I had what I refer to as "itchy joints", that I could not relieve, even when moving. I couldn't tell if it was neurological, but it was so irritating, and distressful (like, "here we go, again!!") Miserable.
Anyway, I have gone to a Neurologist 2 years ago, a Rheumatologist, a vein specialist, cardiologist, a spine specialist, and a few other useless specialists. I have had many tests, have been prescribed many medicines, which I refuse to take. I have been given the blanket diagonosis of "Fibromyalgia", 3 times, but do not believe that my symptoms fit the description.
I am interested in finding out if you have reached a diagnosis, or if you are completely relieved of your symptoms. I certainly hope that you have the problem resolved, and would greatly appreciate if you could share with me how you reached the conclusion.
Many thanks in advance.
Ann
