I couldn't agree more. We consider ourselves the most refined people on the planet who fight to create a more fair and balanced system. The truth is - corporations create more chaos, depression and starvation everyday, all day long, than any pot-schlepper or consumer EVER could. To equate hemp or pot with anything synthetic (which incidentally has had the government's backing and 'inadvertent' participation since just after the 'free love' era) is insulting. War on Drugs. War on Terror, blah blah blah.

Ya know what really gets me going? The majority of people who stand tall to speak down to 'dirty hippies' or people that would rather throw away their lives smoking pot than making more money for the machine to spend (being good, upstanding Americans, as it were) are pill-popping hypocrites. They can't get a night's sleep or get through a dinner with their spouse without a little help. Liquid or pill form is ok in our society now - everything else, un-taxable, falls into the 'you're not REALLY one of us, a REAL American' category. What does it mean to be REAL American now? Perhaps it's returning to our original ideology: Question what you're told and seek your own happiness.

Remember: To question your government is patriotic.
