MoreThis is a reply to # 1,326,201Of all the things you can cheat on in a holistic diet - conventional dairy cannot be one of them. Hormones, and antibiotics are a serious no-no for your body. Smokin grass and drinking good coffee don't even scratch the bad idea that regular dairy does. Whew.

One of the few movies I've cringed to get through. He's brilliant but does his stuff have to be soooooo that? Why does it have to be so visceral? I should have known that was from Blue Velvet. It's like Nancy Sinatra's 'Bang Bang' in Kill Bill. Super haunting.

As an edit I should say that the overwhelming number of times I have smoked is late at night before going to bed or maybe listening to music at home. It is not something I have done and gone to work or was stoned all day. For me it is a personal high. Never really liked it as a social thing except for my much younger days. I

Risk of birth defects = 100%. I consider that toxic without exception. Diabolic, if you asked me.
Abortion, human or animal cloning, stem cell research...also having the same potential of becoming (diabolic). But I believe a blend of limitation and moral oversight (yeah, right) is the essence of any contemporary solution in most cases involving those practices/procedures/experiments.

This is a reply to # 1,325,948I couldn't agree more. We consider ourselves the most refined people on the planet who fight to create a more fair and balanced system. The truth is - corporations create more chaos, depression and starvation everyday, all day long, than any pot-schlepper or consumer EVER could. To equate hemp or pot with anything synthetic (which incidentally has had the government's backing and 'inadvertent' participation since just after the 'free love' era) is insulting. War on Drugs. War on Terror, blah blah blah.
Ya know what really gets me going? The majority of people who stand tall to speak down to 'dirty hippies' or people that would rather throw away their lives smoking pot than making more money for the machine to spend (being good, upstanding Americans, as it were) are pill-popping hypocrites. They can't get a night's sleep or get through a dinner with their spouse without a little help. Liquid or pill form is ok in our society now - everything else, un-taxable, falls into the 'you're not REALLY one of us, a REAL American' category. What does it mean to be REAL American now? Perhaps it's returning to our original ideology: Question what you're told and seek your own happiness.

This is a reply to # 1,325,962people dont bat an eye at a public conversation about the nuances of different beers or wines or foods but just mention pot among most people, even smokers, and their eyes get wide and they look for a segue or an exit. state sponsored fear. isnt that called terrorism?
