My personal view, religious texts are OK, but they are imperfect, they are only translations of translations, and if anything they are like little wheels you use to train people how to ride a bicycle. Once you can ride the bike you know how to do it from inside your head, getting the balance right becomes instinctive. I also think all people are of one god, and the truth is within them.
