Re: I am NOT fasting anymore until..

with all due respect rainy day, your methods do not seem to have resolved your eating problems, you just seem to be going around in circles.

3rd july 2008... your first post...
I am a glutton to the highest degree. Do you think there is any help here for me? Please don't suggest other methods. I have been there and done that and they have all failed me

4th july... incharge advised you...
"Please don't suggest other methods. I have been there and done that and they have all failed me."
Not sure what other methods you refer to, but this type of behavior usually has roots in some emotional issues that need to be cleared. Being gluttonous makes you feel good at the time you are doing it, then has the opposite effect when you realize you have acted that way, and it hasn't helped after all. Then you feel worse about it than you did before.
Even though you don't want other suggestions, and have zeroed in on fasting as the way to go I have to tell you that there's a good chance that after the fast because you haven't cleared what ever the issue is, that you will revert back to gluttonous eating.
So, I suggest EFT.

It works for many problems such as yours, and worse.

i'll bet you have never tried eft. but you replied...
Thank you for your interest in me, however, I am not so eager that I would try anything someone puts in front of me. I have learned not to do that anymore as much of it has been a waste of time for me in the past. I have to be honest; I have no faith in your EFT.

incharge was right though. on 13 august you said...
I have a food addiction

9 november...
I am hoping to fast for five days soon. That will be a breakthrough for me as I have not been able to get past four days now for several years
and
When I went on the 20 dayer I had days where I ached all over and felt sick as a dog. I went through several of those healing crises and came out of them all feeling great

//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1295934#i

but that 20 day fast was several years ago, and going back to your post on 4 august, perhaps you had forgotten, but let me remind you...
After my approximately 20 day fast I did gain all the weight back and a lot more. I did many, many seven day fasts and I was able to return to my old bad eating habits and still be able to maintain my weight. I would gain a little after the fast from what I had lost but I did not end up fatter than what was my usual. After my twenty day fast I was in a state where I felt hungry all the time except for a short period after eating. This is not something I experienced on my seven day fasts. Even after I got over being hungry constantly I still could not eat normal, what was normal for me that is, without gaining weight. The seven day fasts did not leave me grossly obese like the twenty day fast did. I really felt it ruined me for years.

personally I think incharge was right. eft can help people with eating disorders. now you are telling people that eft is "occult"? excuse me????

i will wait to see who resolves their problems first. good luck with your fasting attempts rainy day... and good luck with getting help with your eating disorder, 1234567.
