So hang on a sec, you don't know your starting weight, don't know what weight you are aiming for, don't know what your current weight is, haven't stated your height so impossible to calculate your BMI, yet weight loss is your main goal. Despite having fasted for 7 days, you think your body looks "bigger" now than what it did at the start? This sounds odd to me. You WILL have lost weight, therefore you would have a looser fit against any clothing you had beforehand. I mean you should have lost 7 - 12 pounds, so what dress size were you at the start and what are you wearing now? The same?

It is impossible to achieve a goal unless you know what that goal is. It is frightening to think you want to do a 38 day fast and after 7 days you think you look worse.

You also say you suffered leg pains. Could be detox. What sort of eating habits have you had prior to fasting? is this your first fast?
