Re: A question for Chrisb1
Hello jennalee ,
In answer to your question the answer is yes, as will all the other organs of elimination.
As an example, during the fast many people suffer from skin eruptions as a product of elimination, but these will disappear as the fast progresses if conducted for long enough. The same is true for the Liver and the kidneys, where although they initially work overtime during the fast, and especially so within the first 10 days or so, they will eventually self-heal and cleanse themselves with the eradication of toxemia and where the body is then internally clean.
Natural Hygienists do not believe that
Liver Flushes are necessary, and where this is also the case within Nature, as in the case of sick or injured animals who rely on the power of Nature alone to heal them.
I do not dispute the efficacy of a Liver flush, which has been reported by many to help in the eradication of stones wherever they are located within the body, but it is a procedure that is considered to be superfluous by us in achieving wellness, and where the body is considered to be a self-healing, self-maintaining, and self-repairing organism.
As stated in my previous post, stones are considered to be formed by abnormal secretions/excretions of metabolism brought about by an incorrect diet and living habits, but it is the experience of many many fasting supervisors within Natural Hygiene, that once these fluids are "normalized" by correcting the above, then the normal composition of bile will dissolve stones that are already present.
Living in accord with our physiological laws, which includes diet and other co-factors will negate the need for any remedial action (including fasting) and where I would include myself as a living testimony to this way of life.
Warm Regards
Chrisb1.
