Re: Stomach and throat from hell

Hey, just wanted to drop in and respond real quick. When I drink, my symptoms improve, but they did start after a few months of heavy drinking, and the first day I experienced them was on the night that I tried gin for the first time, true. I keep blaming the gin, I think partly because I've never had it before, so I keep assuming that it alone caused my problem.

My worst possible case scenario that I could ever think of at this point, is that somehow, by some miracle, big pharma is right (I know, it sounds crazy), and the gin somehow triggered "permanent reflux" and that I'll need permanent meds for life or surgery to deal with it. I hope this isn't the case. I know it's not realistic for this to be the case, but it still scares me due to a billion sites being promoted by big pharma that talk about it, along with forums (heartburn/reflux forum) financed by big pharma that have people who say they've had it for "20-40 years", it's damn scary.

I do know that when I burp/bloat I can feel the cold liquid again in my chest/throat if I drink cold, and hot if I drink hot tea/hot liquid. I don't know if that's gasses, a simple sensation, sensitivity, nerves or what. If you have anymore insight please let me know :)
