You mention things seem to get worse when you're drinking. That reminded me of this article I read last year about a woman whose parasite-related symptoms got worse after heavy drinking. Check it out! Her symptoms were a bit different from yours, but it does seem to indicate that alcohol can trigger problems with parasites.

Yeah, I have damp heat in the liver and gallbladder channel and a weak spleen and stomach, too! I think Chinese medicine is incredibly sophisticated and, unfortunately, few acupuncturists in this country are trained enough to use it effectively.
