Re: Can I divorce my wife without a lawyer, even if we live in two separate states?

This is awesome advice!! And I must agree with everyone that posted. It IS possible to get a divorce without a lawyer. I recently finalized my divorce. My spouse and I were in a very similar situation such as yours. We agreed but the money just wasn't there for something like a divorce. There were bills, adult children, food, the list goes on. My sister in law had a friend that mentioned doing a divorce yourself. We didn't think it would be possible or even legit to do that. She told us about a company that helped you with the paperwork (we're not that good at legal jargon) and all we did was print, sign and file. I'm telling you, it was amazing. You definitely want to call your local courthouse to inquire about procedure in your state, but these companies that prepare your paperwork basically tells you want is need for a successful divorce in your state. My wife lived in GA and I live in AZ. I filed so I was the only one at the courthouse for the final hearing. As long as you meet residency requirements for a state you're good to go. Best of luck. Company we used was (divorce4her). Not just for females either, lol. I thought so too. Good luck!
