Can I divorce my wife without a lawyer, even if we live in two separate states?

Hello Everyone,

I'm really wondering if this is possible. Although I know it ought to be but I am very much interested in finding a company or someway of filing for a divorce without a lawyer. My wife and I have been married for 10 years and we have 2 kids. We both agree to this divorce and have already decided who gets what. The problem is, every lawyer we call gives us unbelievable quotes to have this divorce completed and we now live in different states. We aren't arguing, we just want to move on with our lives. Our children are grown and there is nothing left to divide. Is there a way to get a divorce without having our characters smeared in court for the world to see, cheaper, faster and ok to be in different states? Please, if anyone has any advice, we would be so grateful.

Jason
